So excited that all ten winners of the first ever waterford competition are going to be present at Winterverse (at the Marine Bar, Dungarvan, 5pm, December 8th). Kevin MacAlan.ie

It turns out, judging a poetry competition was really really hard. I wanted to squeeze about twenty into the ten places available for winners. Never mind the contestants, this just wasn’t fair on me! Anyway, somehow, the job was done. An email notification will go out in due course, along with publication in a special edition of Poetry Corner in The Dungarvan Leader and an invite to read at Winterverse on Dec 8th, but here are the ten winning poets from the first ever annual waterford competition: waterford.carrd.co/#winners
